Clouds in the Sky, Water in the Blue – Karaganda, Kazakhstan
Feb.04.2026
Karaganda is one of the water-scarce and impoverished regions in Kazakhstan. Currently, the area lacks a drinking water source, and tap water cannot be delivered above the third floor due to insufficient pressure. This project is a key livelihood initiative in Karaganda, crucial for improving the drinking water conditions and enhancing the quality of life and production for hundreds of thousands of residents. It is significant for the overall economic development and the progress toward building a moderately prosperous society.
This project was submitted for approval by the Karaganda Water Conservancy Company of Kazakhstan in June 2025. The pipeline spans a total length of 76 kilometers, starting from Lake Tengiz in southeastern Kazakhstan. As Karaganda is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces a desert on one side, one-third of the 76-kilometer pipeline passes through mountainous and rugged terrain with undulating elevations. There are no existing construction roads, so pipe transportation vehicles and construction rely entirely on newly opened paths. The project uses Baishunxing DN630 and DN800 HDPE pipes. In such complex construction conditions, these pipes demonstrate outstanding flexibility, abrasion resistance, pressure resistance, and corrosion resistance. The 17-meter ultra-long fixed length further helps customers save on transportation and installation costs.

HDPE pipes are the main product of Baishunxing Pipe Industry. They have been tested and refined through hundreds of projects, including China's "South-to-North Water Diversion Project," "Penglai Cross-Sea Project," "Jingxin Expressway," "Belt and Road Initiative – Yellow River Diversion to Linxia," "HBIS Group's Industrial Upgrading," "Mongolia Deep Burial Water Pipeline," and "Kazakhstan Copper Smelting." The product's sanitary performance complies with ISO 4427, EN 12201, and various international system certification requirements, ensuring safe and healthy drinking water for people. The excellent product quality benefits from advanced equipment and production processes. This project provides a solution for safe drinking water and domestic production water for hundreds of thousands of residents in Karaganda, promoting local economic development and the process of building a moderately prosperous society.

This project once again verifies the advantages of Baishunxing HDPE pipes in harsh construction environments, demonstrating the first-class pipeline quality and comprehensive service guarantee system of Baishunxing Pipe Industry.
