PE butt hot melt pipe fittings core classification (according to structure and use) Implementation standard: ISO 4427 / EN 12201 / AS / NZS 4130.
Equal diameter direct (butt through)
Usage: Connect two sections of PE pipe of the same specification to keep the pipe diameter consistent.
Specifications: common DN63, DN75, DN90, DN110, DN160, DN200, DN315, DN400, DN500, DN630, etc. (corresponding to the outer diameter of PE pipes), suitable for PE80, PE100 grade pipe.

Reducer Direct (Butt Reducer)
Usage: Connect two sections of PE pipe of different specifications to achieve pipe diameter reduction.
Features: Different ODIs at both ends, such as DN315×DN200, need to match the SDR series (standard size ratio) of the corresponding pipe.

Butt elbow
Angle: Common 90°, 45°, some scenes can be customized with special angles.
Usage:Change the direction of pipeline laying, the elbow body is hot-melt docked with the pipe, the flow channel is smooth, and the head loss is small.

Docking tee
Type: Equal diameter tee (the specification of the three ends is the same), reducing tee (the specification of the branch end is smaller than the main pipe).
Usage: Pipeline branching or confluence, suitable for water supply main pipe diversion, gas pipeline household branch and other scenarios.

Docking with Franken
Structure: PE hot melt butt end at one end and flange at the other end.
Usage: Used for the connection of PE pipes with other materials (such as steel pipes, cast iron pipes) or equipment (valves, water meters) for easy disassembly and maintenance.

1. Key technical parameters
Material grade
It must be matched with the pipe, the mainstream is PE100 grade (preferred for high-pressure working conditions), PE80 grade (normal working conditions), and the material must comply with the standard of GB/T 13663 "Polyethylene (PE) Pipes for Water Supply".

Dimensional tolerances
Outer diameter deviation: ≤±0.3% (the butt surface needs to be flat to ensure the hot melt fit).
Wall thickness: It must meet the corresponding SDR values (such as SDR11, SDR17.6), which is consistent with the pressure bearing capacity of the pipe.


Pressure rating

Matching with pipes, common 1.0MPa, 1.6MPa, and 2.0MPa correspond to different usage scenarios (such as water supply pipelines commonly use 1.0-1.6MPa, gas pipelines require higher pressure resistance levels).
