Product Introduction
Baishunxing Pipe Industry PPR Electrofusion Couplings are advanced, high-tech connectors designed for high-pressure and large-diameter piping systems where traditional socket fusion is impractical. These fittings feature integrated electrical resistance wires (copper coils) embedded within the PPR body. When connected to a specialized electrofusion welding machine, the wires heat up to melt the inner surface of the coupling and the outer surface of the pipe, creating a perfectly fused, monolithic joint with maximum structural integrity.
Key Characteristics
Embedded Copper Heating Coils: High-precision copper wires are evenly distributed within the fusion zone to ensure consistent and uniform heat distribution.
Integrated Terminal Pins: Equipped with standardized 4.0mm or 4.7mm terminal pins for easy connection to all universal electrofusion welding machines.
Barcoded Traceability: Each fitting comes with a barcode containing specific welding parameters (voltage, time, cooling period) for automated and error-free installation.
Indicator Lugs: Features "fusion indicators" that pop up once the correct welding pressure and temperature are reached, providing a visual confirmation of a successful joint.
Core Advantages
Superior Joint Strength: The fused interface is often stronger than the pipe itself, providing exceptional resistance to tensile loads and internal pressure (PN25+).
Space-Efficient Installation: Ideal for tight spaces, trenches, or overhead installations where there is no room to maneuver bulky manual socket fusion tools.
Automated Quality Control: The electrofusion machine controls the entire process, minimizing human error and ensuring consistent quality across hundreds of joints.
Zero Leakage Risk: Provides a permanent, molecular-level bond that is immune to vibration, thermal expansion, and seismic activity.
Primary Applications
Municipal Infrastructure: Main water distribution lines and high-pressure urban water networks.
High-Rise Building Risers: Vertical water supply columns in skyscrapers where high pressure and reliability are critical.
Fire Protection Systems: Reliable piping for fire-fighting networks and sprinkler systems.
Industrial Process Piping: Transporting aggressive chemicals or high-temperature fluids in chemical plants and factories.
