Product Introduction
Baishunxing Pipe Industry PPR Electrofusion Flanges (also known as Electrofusion Flange Adapters or Stub Ends) are specialized heavy-duty fittings used to connect PPR pipelines to flanged equipment, such as large pumps, butterfly valves, or traditional metal piping systems. These fittings feature an integrated electrofusion socket with pre-embedded copper heating coils at one end and a reinforced flange neck at the other. When paired with a backing ring (flange plate), they provide a secure, detachable, and high-pressure-resistant connection point for complex infrastructure.
Key Characteristics
Integrated Electrofusion Interface: Features high-precision copper heating elements for a perfect molecular bond with the pipe, ensuring the joint is as strong as the main run. Reinforced Sealing Surface: The flange face is designed with a broad, flat sealing surface to accommodate various gasket types for a leak-proof mechanical seal.
Standard Dimensional Compliance: Designed to fit international flange standards (ISO, DIN, ANSI) when used with appropriate backing rings.
Traceability Barcode & Indicators: Includes a barcode for automatic welding parameter setting and fusion indicators for visual quality confirmation.
Core Advantages
High-Pressure Reliability: Rated for PN16 to PN25, these fittings are engineered for high-stress applications like main risers and pump stations.
Detachable Maintenance: Allows for easy disconnection of expensive equipment (like pumps or valves) for service without cutting the fused PPR pipeline.
Superior Corrosion Resistance: The PPR body is immune to the rust and galvanic corrosion that often cause traditional metal flange connections to fail.
Simplified Large-Diameter Jointing: Provides a reliable way to connect large pipes (up to 315mm) in tight spaces where traditional fusion equipment may struggle.
Primary Applications
Pump & Valve Stations: Connecting main PPR supply lines to centrifugal pumps, gate valves, and check valves.
Water Treatment Facilities: Transitions between plastic piping and metal filtration or aeration equipment.
High-Rise Mechanical Rooms: Main connection points in mechanical rooms where large-diameter pipes interface with HVAC units.
Municipal Water Supply Networks: Facilitating connections between urban PPR grids and existing iron or steel main lines.
